Get to Know the Who and the Why
The people behind the practice and the reasons we do things differently
At Whole Human Wellness Therapy, we believe people deserve care that makes room for their whole lives: their history, their relationships, their strengths, and the parts that still feel messy or uncertain.
We’re a team of therapists who take time to understand your story, notice the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and offer support you can actually use beyond the therapy room.
Here’s why we built our practice that way.
Why I Started Whole Human Wellness
The concept of Whole Human Wellness Therapy began with a question:
What if people had more options between intensive treatment and a 50-minute therapy session once a week?
Working with teens and families across residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs, I saw how easily the treatment cycle could continue for years. A teen might make meaningful progress in treatment, then return home to the same pressures, conflicts, and routines. Their family wanted to help, but needed support understanding what was changing and how to respond differently together. When things became difficult again, everyone could feel like they were starting over.
I also saw a gap in what happened next. A weekly therapy session can be valuable, but some people and families need more connection between sessions, more coordination with the people involved in their care, or help applying new skills when a difficult situation actually comes up. I didn’t want families to feel that they had to wait until things reached a breaking point to talk about what wasn’t working.
I started Whole Human Wellness to build a practice that could be more responsive and collaborative. We take time to understand the whole picture, keep the right people connected when appropriate, and tailor support to what’s happening in someone’s real life. That may mean working with parents alongside a teen, helping family members recognize a familiar cycle before it escalates, or giving someone a concrete way to approach a conversation they’ve been avoiding.
Our goal is to do more than help someone get through the next hard moment. We want to help people shift the patterns, relationships, and environments that shape those moments in the first place.
And you don’t need to be in crisis (or have a complex treatment history) to benefit from that kind of care. Everyone deserves therapy that feels personal, practical, and connected to the life they’re living. I am so honored to walk alongside my clients in their journey.

The Humans Behind the Work
I’ve built our team with the same intention I bring to matching someone with a therapist. People of different ages, identities, and life experiences need different kinds of support. The right fit also comes down to things you can’t capture in a list of specialties: whether you’d feel more comfortable with someone gentle and reflective, playful and creative, or warm and direct.
I’ve brought together clinicians with different strengths, backgrounds, and personalities so we can help more people find someone they genuinely connect with—whether they’re a child, teen, adult, couple, or family, and whether they’re facing a new challenge or carrying a long treatment history.
We won’t all sound the same in a therapy room, and that’s by design. What we do share is a commitment to seeing the whole human, getting curious before making assumptions, and offering care that is compassionate, collaborative, and useful in everyday life.
Care That Fits the Whole Picture
Your care might involve individual therapy, couples or family work, parent support, in home executive functioning, help navigating life after a higher level of treatment OR a mix of any of the above. When it’s helpful and everyone agrees, different WHW clinicians can support different members of a family and collaborate as a team or be a support in real life situations in your own environment.
We’ll work with you to make sense of the patterns beneath what’s happening, identify what needs attention, and practice ways forward that feel possible in your actual life. The shape of care will depend on your needs, goals, and circumstances.
Ready to Get Started?
You don’t need to organize your thoughts or know exactly what kind of help to ask for. You can tell us everything that’s been going on, even if it comes out as a brain dump. Please call or fill out the contact form. We will reach out and set a time up for us to connect.
We’ll listen, help you sort through it, and figure out a good place to begin together, as a new part of YOUR team
